Vural Cinema is Preparing to Open Its Curtains Again in Ayvalık

Within the scope of the 'A Cinema in Ayvalık' project prepared to revive the culture and arts life in Ayvalık, Vural Cinema is being renovated and transformed into a meeting space that will host various events throughout the year.
Grant Support Process of the Project
Prepared within the framework of the Common Cultural Dialogue and Support Program carried out by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, the project was deemed eligible for grant support.
Partner Institutions and Stakeholders
Carried out with the support of the European Union, in partnership with Culture Action Europe and with the affiliation of the Marmara Municipalities Union, the program is implemented in partnership with the Ayvalık Municipality and the Seyir Culture and Arts Association.
Spatial and Technical Innovations
Within the scope of the ongoing works, the physical conditions of Vural Cinema are being improved while its technical equipment is completely renewed.
Year-Round Events
In the newly arranged venue, children's activities, workshops, talks, and various art programs will be implemented alongside film screenings.
