Festival Achievements

Having its world premiere at the IFFI Goa Film Festival in India, the film met with cinephiles in our country for the first time at the Istanbul Film Festival.

Awards Won

The production won the best screenplay, best music, and Film-Yön Best Director awards within the scope of the 33rd Adana Altın Koza Film Festival.

Strong Cast

The film's rich cast includes prominent names such as Müfit Kayacan, Hülya Gülşen, İnci Sefa Cingöz, and Emrah Özdemir.

Meral Çetinkaya, Berkan Şal, Nilgün Türksever, and Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu also star in the cast.

Subject of the Film

The work deals with the entrapment experienced by a middle-class urban family, class relations, and the growing pains of the characters.

The story handles a layered family structure consisting of a retired leftist father, an unemployed young person, and a mother trying to make herself accepted into the upper class.

Production Process

It is stated that the idea for the film emerged in late 2018 and was developed at the Venice Film Festival Biennale College Cinema.

It is noted that filming could only be completed in 2023 due to challenging processes such as the pandemic and the February 6 earthquakes.
