Date Set for Expected Major Discount on Diesel Prices
The massive discount projected to take place on the liter price of diesel on Monday night is being closely followed by vehicle owners.
Following fluctuations in Brent crude oil and foreign exchange rates, a significant discount of 4.95 TL is expected in the diesel group.
Details of the Expected Major Discount
According to industry sources and the latest information obtained, preparations are underway for a major discount that will pull down figures in the diesel group.
Based on data shared by journalist Olcay Aydilek and industry sources, a discount of 4.95 TL is projected on the liter price of diesel.
Timing of the Discount's Reflection on Pump Prices
The said major discount is planned to be implemented as of midnight connecting Monday night to Tuesday.
It is stated that the new tariff will be reflected directly in pump prices starting from October 6, 2026, at 00:01.
Current Fuel Prices in Istanbul
On the European Side, gasoline is currently sold at 84.60 TL, diesel at 95.00 TL, and LPG at 41.20 TL levels.
On the Anatolian Side, the fuel signboard shows gasoline at 84.50 TL, diesel at 94.90 TL, and LPG at 40.60 TL.
Current Figures in Ankara and Izmir
In Ankara, current pump prices before the discount are at 85.60 TL for gasoline, 96.10 TL for diesel, and 41.29 TL for the LPG group.
Across Izmir, fuel signboards reflect gasoline as 85.90 TL, diesel as 96.40 TL, and LPG as 41.20 TL.
