E-notification obligation started for many professional groups
The electronic notification obligation has been implemented for a broad group of taxpayers, including collective companies, tradespeople, farmers, and self-employed professionals.
With the new regulation, an e-notification obligation has been introduced for collective companies, ordinary limited partnerships, tradespeople, farmers, livestock breeders, and self-employed professionals.
Broad Taxpayer Scope
Collective companies, ordinary limited partnerships, and individuals and organizations registered in their name for the initial acquisition of certain vehicles are also included within the scope of the regulation. Thus, the electronic notification process is gaining importance for a wide group of taxpayers, including tradespeople, farmers, livestock breeders, and self-employed professionals.
Registration Procedures and Deadline
Taxpayers who are not included in the system prior to the publication date of the communiqué and who fall within the scope of the regulation must complete their registration procedures by the end of November. Applications can be made through tax offices or electronically via the Digital Tax Office.
Exceptions and Exemptions
Those who have reached the age of 65 will be able to opt out of the e-Notification system upon request. Individuals with a disability rate of 90 percent or higher, documented with a health board report, are kept outside the scope of the obligation.
