Fund Payments and Investor Developments

While 17 funds whose payments were completed became clear, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek announced to the public that the money of 43,000 fund investors has been deposited into their accounts.

Turkey Insurance Association President Yaşar stated that there is no figure at hand that could directly associate funds with the private pension system.

Foreign Investor and Market Movements

While foreign investors shifted back to the net selling side in the stock market, a $2.5 billion decline was recorded in their derivative positions with Turkish banks.

In addition, foreign investors' total fund portfolio experienced a decrease of $6.1 billion, and the upward trend in foreign currency deposits continued.
