July Provisional Foreign Trade Data and Change Rates
While exports recorded an increase in July 2026, the latest situation in foreign trade deficit and import data was announced to the public by official institutions.
According to provisional foreign trade data prepared in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Ministry of Trade, Turkey's exports and imports increased in July 2026.
July Export and Import Figures
According to general trade system data, exports in July 2026 increased by 2.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 25 billion 623 million dollars. In the same period, imports increased by 5.1 percent, reaching 32 billion 966 million dollars.
January-July Cumulative Data
In the first seven months of the year, exports rose by 3.4 percent to 161 billion 539 million dollars, while imports increased by 4.7 percent to reach 222 billion 85 million dollars.
Foreign Trade Deficit and Coverage Ratio
In July, the foreign trade deficit increased by 13.6 percent compared to the same month of last year, reaching 7 billion 343 million dollars. The export-to-import coverage ratio dropped from 79.4 percent to 77.7 percent. The deficit in the January-July period increased by 8.3 percent to 60 billion 545 million dollars.
Countries with Highest Exports and Imports
In July, the country with the highest export volume was Germany with 2 billion 42 million dollars, followed by the USA, the United Kingdom, Iraq, and Italy, respectively. In the import rankings, China took the first place with a share of 5 billion 40 million dollars.
