Non-residents purchase 150 million dollars worth of stocks

According to the Weekly Securities Statistics data announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, non-residents made stock purchases worth 150.2 million dollars last week.

The Weekly Securities Statistics shared with the public by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey revealed the recent periodic movements of foreign investors in the market.

Stocks and Corporate Bonds Stand Out in Investment Preferences

During the relevant week, non-residents purchased 150.2 million dollars in stocks and 146 million dollars in corporate bonds, while selling 1.2 million dollars in government domestic debt securities.

Increases Observed in Stock and Bond Stocks

The stock holdings of non-residents rose from 41,721.6 million dollars to 43,109.4 million dollars in the week of August 21. During the same period, corporate bond holdings also recorded an increase.

Decrease Experienced in Government Domestic Debt Security Holdings

In the period covering the same timeframe, the government domestic debt security holdings of non-residents declined from 17,796 million dollars to 17,788.7 million dollars.
