Recep Öztürk Reelected as President in Körfez Chamber of Commerce Elections

In the 22 professional committee elections held at the Körfez Chamber of Commerce, 1,256 members went to the ballot boxes, and current President Recep Öztürk's Green List refreshed its mandate by receiving 757 votes.

Election Results and Vote Distribution

1,256 members cast their votes in the 22 professional committee elections held at the Körfez Chamber of Commerce. While current President Recep Öztürk's Green List won the election with 757 votes, İsmail Akova's Red List received 411 votes.

In the election, the White List ranked third with 114 votes, while the Blue List came in fourth with 71 votes.

Distribution by Committee

According to the results on a committee basis, Öztürk's Green List managed to win the election in 15 committees. Akova's Red List, on the other hand, gained supremacy in 5 committees.

Meanwhile, the Blue List emerged as the winner from the ballot box in the 8th and 22nd Professional Committees.

Results Determined by Draw

The most notable outcome of the election took place in the 7th Professional Committee. In this committee where the Green and Red Lists received an equal number of votes, the winning side was determined by a drawing of lots.

New Term Projects and Goals

Following the election results in the 22 professional committees, the new term council table of the Körfez Chamber of Commerce became clear. Recep Öztürk, who won the election, made evaluations regarding the new term.

Stating that they will strengthen the cooperation between universities, vocational high schools, and the business world in the new period, Öztürk expressed that they will focus on works that will contribute to the employment problem.

He noted that they aim to develop economic collaborations, increase foreign trade volume, and carry out joint projects with vocational training institutions.
