Statement from Minister Şimşek: Liquidation of 17 Funds Completed and Investor Payments Made
As part of the liquidation process in the capital market, 17 funds were closed and the entitlements of thousands of participants were transferred to their respective bank accounts.
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced that within the framework of investigations in the fund market, 17 funds belonging to A1 Capital, Bulls, and Pardus portfolio management companies were liquidated and the money of 43 thousand investors was transferred to banks.
Fund Liquidation Process
An important stage was left behind in the fund liquidation process initiated in line with the decisions of the Capital Markets Board, and investor payments were made.
Investor Payments
The liquidation of 17 funds open to TEFAS, founded by A1 Capital, Bulls, and Pardus portfolio management companies, was completed, and the entitlements of the participants were sent to the relevant institutions.
Role of Ziraat Bank
The payment and transfer process carried out was coordinated through Ziraat Bank, ensuring the transfers were made to the accounts of the fund participants.
Status of Other Funds
In statements made by authorized authorities, it was noted that liquidation and examination processes regarding other funds outside this scope are ongoing.
