As a result of the calculations made, it is projected that the raise rates will range between 8.7 percent and 10.6 percent, and the lowest retiree pension will exceed 26 thousand liras.

Central Bank Inflation Forecast
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey updating its year-end inflation forecast led to the recalculation of the January raise.
Expectations and Alternative Rates
Along with the CBRT's year-end inflation forecast of 28 percent, three different raise possibilities emerged based on market participants' expectation of 29.43 percent and the 30.32 percent scenario in the alternative calculation.
Inflation Data and Calendar
According to TUIK data, while the consumer price index increased in July, August inflation figures are awaited. Data for the second half of the year is being tracked for the definitive rate.
Increase in the Lowest Retiree Pension
It is calculated that the lowest retiree pension, which is currently 23 thousand 552 liras, could rise above 26 thousand liras with the projected raise rates, and become 25 thousand 601 TRY with an 8.70 percent raise.
