This new regulation published by the Türkiye Wealth Fund sets forth the institution's strategic approach in the field of sustainable financing.
The text comprehensively determines the basic principles regarding the areas of use of resources, the selection of eligible projects, fund management, and reporting processes.
International Rating and Compliance
Within the scope of the Second Party Opinion prepared by Sustainable Fitch, the framework was evaluated with the highest level rating of Excellent.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that the document is fully compliant with the current principles and guidelines of international organizations such as ICMA, LMA, LSTA, APLMA, and IFC.
Objectives and Future Vision
With this move, it is aimed to support investments providing environmental and social benefits, strengthen resilient infrastructure, and diversify resources.
The framework is intended to be implemented prior to COP31, to be hosted by Türkiye, and to contribute to the 2053 net-zero emission target.
