TURKSTAT Announces Real Return Rates of Financial Investment Instruments for September 2026
According to the data shared by the Turkish Statistical Institute for the September 2026 period, the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual real return and loss rates of financial investment instruments have become clear.
The Turkish Statistical Institute officially published the real return rates of financial investment instruments for the September 2026 period. According to the announced data, the highest monthly real return was seen in GDS, while bullion gold ranked first on an annual basis.
Highest Return on a Monthly Basis
The highest monthly real return occurred in Government Debt Securities at 1.18 percent adjusted by D-PPI and 1.40 percent adjusted by CPI.
Biggest Loser on a Monthly Basis
In the same period, the BIST 100 index caused a loss for its investors by 6.01 percent when deflated by D-PPI and 5.79 percent when deflated by CPI.
Quarterly Evaluation Results
While the highest real return in the three-month period was recorded in deposit interest, the highest real loss was seen in the BIST 100 index.
Semi-Annual Return Table
In the six-month evaluation, while the highest real return was provided by deposit interest, bullion gold was the instrument that caused the most loss for its investors.
Bullion Gold is the Leader on an Annual Basis
In the annual evaluation, bullion gold ranked first among investment instruments by providing a real return of 7.25 percent with D-PPI and 5.30 percent with CPI.
