Work Initiated for e-Government Obligation in Lease Agreements
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance is preparing a new regulation to make rental agreements entirely through the e-Government Gateway.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance is carrying out a comprehensive study to make the preparation of lease agreements concerning tenants and landlords mandatory via the e-Government Gateway.
Stages of the Application
The Ministry had launched the first phase of the service on November 4, 2024, to ensure that lease agreements can be prepared reliably via e-Government.
The second phase of the system was offered to citizens on May 9, 2025, expanding the process.
Update and Error Correction
Error correction and update functions were also successfully introduced to users during the process.
Within 15 days following the approval, material errors can be corrected, and the rental amount and contact information can be kept up to date.
Document Generation and Statistics
Thanks to this application, which allows the generation of time-stamped and barcoded documents, citizens can easily carry out official paperwork procedures.
To date, a total of 72,581 lease agreements have been approved and recorded through this system across 81 provinces.
Statements by Minister Mehmet Şimşek
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek specifically emphasized that the application was designed in a way that requires no additional cost.
Minister Şimşek invited citizens to carry out their lease agreement transactions quickly and securely via e-Government.
