Work underway for e-Government mandate in rental agreements
A new regulation is being worked on that will make it mandatory for all rental agreements to be made via e-Government.
While new functions are being added to rental agreement transactions carried out through the e-Government platform by the ministry, comprehensive work is underway to make it mandatory for all rental agreements to be conducted through this system.
Phases and scope of the application
The first phase of the service regarding the reliable preparation of rental agreements via e-Government was made available to citizens on November 4, 2024.
With the implementation of the second phase on May 9, 2025, real estate consultants and authorized persons were also granted the opportunity to prepare agreements.
Newly added functions
In line with user demands, error correction and update functions were added to the system, making processes easier.
Material errors in approved agreements can be corrected within 15 days, and rental and contact information can be kept up to date.
Mandate and targeted objectives
With the work that will make it mandatory for all rental agreements to be made via e-Government, it is aimed to prevent potential grievances for citizens and real estate businesses.
Thanks to the application, mediation in rental transactions without an authorization certificate is prevented, and bureaucracy is also reduced.
Statistics and ministry statement
Within the scope of the service, a total of 72,581 rental agreements have been successfully approved across all 81 provinces to date.
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek invited citizens to conduct their transactions via e-Government.
