A new inter-ministerial working group has been established in Vietnam to enhance foreign relations and international integration in the fields of economy, science, and technology.
Establishment of the Working Group
On October 1, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister, Politburo Member, and Member of the Steering Committee for the Center for Foreign Relations and International Integration Pham Gia Tuc signed the official decision.
Duties and Objectives
The newly established Inter-ministerial Working Group was put into operation with the aim of strengthening the inter-ministerial coordination mechanism and increasing the effectiveness of related tasks.
Management Structure
The Working Group is chaired by Pham Gia Tuc, while Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung serves as the permanent vice chairman, and Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan serves as the vice chairman.
