Extend engineer Bo Lau has designed a website that recreates the Theranos era using real emails and documents from the U.S. v. Elizabeth Holmes case.
Extend engineer Bo Lau has developed a detailed website using thousands of emails, presentations, text messages, and official documents that emerged during the U.S. v. Elizabeth Holmes trial, allowing users to feel as though they are sitting at the former Theranos executive's desk.
The Purpose of the Detailed Simulation
Brought to life by Extend engineer Bo Lau, this website offers a realistic simulation for those curious about the working environment of the Theranos founder in the period before everything collapsed.
Technological Elements from 2016
The virtual environment designed by Lau takes users back to 2016, providing a MacBook Air experience running the OS X El Capitan operating system and a smartphone experience where they can examine public court documents.
Users also have the opportunity to operate the Theranos Edison device within this special simulation.
Promotional Aspect of the Project
This intriguing digital project also aims to promote an upcoming viewing party for Nathan Fielder's new documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, titled 'You Can See Everything,' as well as the developer's company, Extend.
