Batman Program and Condolence Messages

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin visited the AK Parti Provincial Presidency as part of his engagements in Batman and met with party members.

During the meeting at the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism Conference Hall, Minister Tekin extended his condolences for those who lost their lives in a fire at a private gym in Batman and on a passenger boat that capsized off the coast of Kyrenia in the TRNC.

Past Difficulties and Steps Toward Resolution

Tekin stated that in the 1990s, fundamental rights and freedoms were restricted, and the right to life was not guaranteed due to unsolved murders and terrorist attacks.

Recalling the 12 governments established between 1989 and 2002, Tekin stated that a roadmap was created to solve problems with the AK Parti under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Terror-Free Turkey Process and Sabotage Attempts

Minister Tekin stated that the steps taken for the Terror-Free Turkey process were repeatedly sabotaged by structures that were not in favor of a solution.

Noting that work has been meticulously carried out to solve this problem since 2002, Tekin recorded that a decisive stance was displayed during the Resolution Process period with the will of President Erdoğan.

Condolence Visits and Batman Engagements

Following the meeting, Tekin attended the final of the Provincial Directorate of National Education's Inspiring Encounters Project and also visited local tradespeople.

Together with Governor Ekrem Canalp and AK Parti Provincial Chairman Hüseyin Şansi, Tekin visited the condolence house of Emine Yani, who lost her life in the fire, to offer condolences to the family.
