AI Chatbot Feature is Coming for Google Discover Feed
Google is introducing a new feature that will allow users to personalize their feeds by stating their preferences through an AI-powered chat interface.
Google is preparing to launch a new AI tool soon that will allow users to personalize their Google Discover feeds by directly describing their interests to a chatbot.
New Chatbot Interface
The new feature to be added to the Google application will enable users to directly guide their feeds. Accessible from the three-dot menu in the Discover feed, the option will open a chat-style interface.
Determining and Updating Preferences
The chatbot will confirm the choices made and list which content types will be prioritized. Users will be able to add additional information and refresh the feed in case they find anything missing or incorrect.
Google News and Other Updates
Google also announced innovations on the Google News application on Android that enable the personalization of daily audio summaries. New buttons are also being introduced for publishers in the Preferred Sources feature.
