Funding Costs
It was stated that although the policy interest rate was kept constant, the banking system's funding cost being pulled down from the overnight level of 40 percent to the weekly repo level of 37 percent corresponds to a 3-point reduction in the market.
Loan Interest Rates
It was emphasized that it is essential for the continuity of production and employment that banks reflect the decline achieved in funding costs onto commercial loan interest rates, which range between 45 and 55 percent, without losing time.
