Potential Reasons for the Postponement Decision

The newspaper report included information that the introduction of the bill to Parliament was postponed to October due to bureaucratic reasons.

It was also claimed that Ankara avoided increasing tensions ahead of the NATO Summit to be hosted by Turkey on July 7-8.

It was stated that the news of the postponement somewhat lowered the current political tension in Athens.
