Founded in 2023 by Priyaa Kalyanaraman and Purvanshi Mehta, Lica initially started as an app that turned screenshots and recordings into project presentations before securing investment.

The fact that both companies were backed by Accel and South Park Commons paved the way for the founders to meet and ultimately initiated these acquisition talks.
