Gemini Omni and Personal Avatar Innovations Announced for Google Vids
Google is adding text- and visual-based Gemini Omni and personal avatars to the Google Vids platform to simplify video production.
With two new updates announced for the Google Vids platform, users can now create videos using natural language commands and produce content with their own digital avatars.
Video Editing with Natural Language
Gemini Omni enables users to generate high- fazer quality clips and perform step-by-step editing using text commands and visual references.
Operations such as background replacement, lighting correction, or adding effects can be carried out conversationally without needing to start from scratch.
Personal Digital Avatars
The new personal avatars feature allows users to create a digital character that resembles them by uploading a selfie and a short voice recording.
Messages entered as text can be voiced through this digital avatar without the need for a camera recording.
Accessibility and Security
Gemini Omni and personal avatars are made available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers as well as Google Workspace enterprise customers.
While regional limitations and an 18-and-older age requirement apply to personal avatars, a SynthID watermark is included in every clip for content transparency.
