GoDaddy Saves 15,000 Hours Annually by Revamping Its Analytics Infrastructure with Amazon Quick
With its migration to Amazon Quick, GoDaddy reduced its dashboard count by 50% and cut reporting times to under 5 seconds, saving more than 15,000 hours of time annually.
GoDaddy, one of the world's largest domain registrars and web hosting companies, has completely shut down its legacy business intelligence system and migrated to the Amazon Quick platform following a two-year transformation. Thanks to this migration, the company reduced report loading times to under 5 seconds, cut its dashboard count in half, and significantly increased operational efficiency with AI-powered analytics solutions.
Migration from Legacy System to Amazon Quick
At the beginning of 2023, GoDaddy's data and analytics teams began searching for a new business intelligence solution due to the high costs associated with thousands of dashboards and report loading times that took up to 15 minutes. Amazon QuickSight (now known as Amazon Quick) was chosen because of its native integration with AWS services and its pay-as-you-go model.
Having completely decommissioned its legacy business intelligence tool as of December 2025, the company increased its active user count to over 4,298. During this process, the existing dashboard portfolio was also streamlined, reducing it from over 5,000 to under 2,500.
Speed and Anomaly Detection in Financial Analysis
The company's flagship financial dashboard, 'Cash Dash', which is considered the single source of truth for its financial performance, began loading in under 5 seconds after being migrated to Amazon Quick.
Thanks to automated anomaly detection integrated with the new system, the finance team transitioned to the '1/10/60' model. Under this model, anomalies are detected within one minute, investigated within ten minutes, and resolved within sixty minutes.
AI-Powered Chatbots and Automation
As part of the AI features offered by the platform, which was renamed Amazon Quick in October 2025, GoDaddy deployed seven custom chatbots. Chatbots such as Dashboard Navigator and Domain Auction Assistant answered 1,999 queries in April 2026 alone, saving approximately 6,000 hours annually.
Additionally, automating weekly business review processes with Quick Flows yielded an additional annual savings of 1,900 hours. This new architecture, built on Amazon Redshift and Okta single sign-on infrastructure, has fostered a data-driven decision-making culture across the company.
