Grant Support for Policy Ideas in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
OpenAI announced that it will provide grants to 14 independent organizations globally to support social resilience and economic opportunities alongside the advancement of artificial intelligence technologies.
OpenAI is providing a total of $1 million in cash grants and up to $1 million in API credits to 14 projects run by independent organizations worldwide to contribute to policy-making processes in the age of artificial intelligence.

While the selected projects focus on increasing economic opportunities and strengthening social resilience, the studies cover the United States, the European Union, Brazil, Singapore, and South Korea.
Participating Organizations
The independent organizations entitled to receive grants include well-known institutions such as the American Enterprise Institute, Centre for European Policy Studies, Abundance Institute, Nanyang Technological University, and Yonsei University.
Process and Timeline
The results of the projects, which are planned to continue for six months, are anticipated to be shared with the public in 2027.
