At the Galaxy Unpacked event held in London, Google and Samsung celebrated the release of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8 models, introducing Gemini Intelligence capabilities.

Task Automation with Gemini Intelligence

Task automation support has been expanded from a few applications to more than 40 popular apps, enabling users to manage daily tasks such as shopping, dinner reservations, and travel planning.

On the Galaxy Z Flip8, this assistance can be accessed directly through the Flex Window, and Gemini uses advanced reasoning to parse screen content and complex visuals.

Gemini Notebook Application

Formerly known as NotebookLM, Gemini Notebook comes pre-installed on Samsung's new foldables, functioning as a multimodal thinking and research partner.

Users can drag and drop photos, documents, and audio recordings into the workspace to generate custom sources such as presentations, videos, flashcards, and podcasts.

Gemini Integration for Watches and Glasses

On the Galaxy Watch 9, users can activate Gemini by raising their wrist without even using a wake word.

Google also showcased smart glasses developed with partners like Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, set to launch in the fall.
