International Liabilities and Assets
Turkey's international liabilities saw a historical peak at $806.7 billion as of June. In the same period, international assets stood at the level of $404 billion.
Changes in Asset Items
Direct investments increased by 3.2 percent to $81.2 billion, while portfolio investments decreased by 11 percent to fall to $9.1 billion. The Central Bank's reserve assets decreased by 2.2 percent to $147.4 billion.
Distribution of Liability Items
When liability sub-items were examined, direct investments stood at $231.5 billion, portfolio investments at $154.8 billion, and other investments at $413.4 billion.
