Within the scope of Public Health Week organized by the Ministry of Health, 7 different themes aimed at protecting public health—ranging from maternal and child health to vaccination, and from combating addiction to cancer screenings—will be covered over 7 days between September 3 and 9.
Emphasis on Maternal and Child Health
On September 3, the first day of Public Health Week, the importance of health monitoring during pregnancy and the postpartum period will be emphasized.
On September 4, events aimed at raising awareness among children about a healthy lifestyle will be organized.
Vaccination and Access to Reliable Information
On September 5, the importance of accessing accurate information regarding vaccination, preventive health services, and health literacy will be explained.
Efforts to Combat Addiction
On September 6, awareness-raising activities regarding the fight against tobacco, substance, and digital addictions will be conducted, and consultation hotlines will be introduced.
