Following the retirement of the previous general manager, Adem Yılmaz, who served as deputy general manager, has been appointed to the new post.
Adem Yılmaz, who has been serving as the deputy general manager since March, has been appointed to the position of General Manager at the General Directorate of Health Investments following the retirement of the previous general manager.
New Appointment Process
Adem Yılmaz, Deputy General Manager of the Ministry of Health General Directorate of Health Investments, has been appointed as General Manager following the retirement of the general manager. Following this development, Yılmaz took over his new duty and began his work.
Past Career Steps
Between 2005 and 2015, Adem Yılmaz worked as a laboratory technician within the Ministry of Health at hospitals in Artvin Yusufeli, Gümüşhane Kelkit, and Trabzon Şalpazarı.
Serving in the Audit and Consultancy Services Department of the General Directorate of Health Investments between 2015 and 2020, Yılmaz worked as a control engineer in city hospitals.
Local and Regional Duties
Having worked as a control engineer in the Investments Unit of the Trabzon Provincial Health Directorate Support Services Department between 2020 and 2026, Yılmaz was appointed as deputy general manager within the ministry in March 2026.
Visiting his hometown Vakfıkebir in June, Yılmaz had met with AK Party Vakfıkebir District Chairman Ahmet Uzun and Vakfıkebir State Hospital Manager Yahya Sağıroğlu.
