Famous comedian Cem Yilmaz fell ill at his home in Canakkale's Ayvacik district, was taken to the hospital, and underwent a successful angioplasty operation due to the heart attack he suffered there. Fell Ill at Home and Was Taken to the Hospital

Comedian Cem Yilmaz called the 112 Emergency Call Center for assistance due to pain he felt in his chest and back at his home in Ayvacik, Canakkale. After his initial intervention, he was taken to Ayvacik State Hospital and was subsequently referred to Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital.

Successful Angioplasty Operation Performed

Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, a faculty member of the Cardiology Department who undertook the operation, stated that the patient presented with a major heart attack. As a result of a balloon and stent procedure lasting approximately 40 minutes performed through the wrist, the blocked vessel was successfully opened.

Monitoring in Intensive Care Continues

Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit stated that following the successful operation, the artist's monitoring will continue in the coronary intensive care unit for 2 days. It was stated that if the process proceeds without any issues, the patient could be discharged.

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated that the medical interventions were completed successfully and his general condition is good. His older brother, Can Yılmaz, also announced through social media posts that his brother's health condition is good.
