Famous comedian, actor, and screenwriter Cem Yılmaz was hospitalized after applying to the 112 Emergency Call Center due to chest pain he experienced at his home in Çanakkale's Ayvacık district. After initial intervention at Ayvacık State Hospital, the artist was transferred to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital, where a successful angiography operation was performed.
Felt Ill at Home and Applied to Hospital
Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz fell ill with a complaint of chest pain while at his home in Paşaköy, located in Çanakkale's Ayvacık district. Following the notification, the artist received initial intervention from medical teams dispatched to the scene and was taken to Ayvacık State Hospital.
Transferred to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital
Following his initial treatment at Ayvacık State Hospital, Cem Yılmaz was transferred to the Coronary Intensive Care Unit of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital for further examination and intervention.
Angiography Operation and Stent Placement
Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, a faculty member of the Cardiology Department who performed the angiography on the patient, stated that Yılmaz presented with a heart attack or spasm concerning the anterior wall of the heart. The treatment was completed in approximately 40 minutes via a balloon and stent procedure performed through the wrist.
Statement from His Doctor and the Ministry
Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, who performed the operation, stated that the patient's consciousness is clear, his condition is stable, and he is planned to be monitored in the intensive care unit for two days. Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu also announced in a message he published that the necessary medical interventions were successfully carried out and his general condition is good.
