Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz was rushed to the hospital after falling ill with chest pain at his home in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale. It was reported that the artist is in good and stable health after receiving a stent through an angiogram procedure.

Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz experienced chest pain while at his home in Paşaköy, in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale. Recognizing his condition, the 53-year-old artist called the 112 Emergency Call Center to request assistance.

Transfer to Hospital and Angiogram Procedure

Picked up from his home by medical teams, Yılmaz was first taken to Ayvacık State Hospital. Following initial intervention there, the artist was transferred to the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital Coronary Intensive Care Unit, where an angiogram was performed by Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit.

Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, who performed the angiogram, stated that the patient's consciousness was clear and a balloon and stent procedure was applied through his wrist in about 40 minutes. Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu also announced on his social media account that the necessary medical interventions were successfully carried out.

The artist's brother, Can Yılmaz, also shared on social media that his brother's condition was good. Stating that the treatment process has been completed, family members and authorities noted that the artist is being kept under observation in the coronary intensive care unit.
