Comedian Cem Yılmaz Hospitalized After Heart Attack
Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz, who was hospitalized due to a heart attack in Çanakkale, underwent a successful angioplasty operation.
Comedian Cem Yılmaz, who applied to the 112 Emergency Call Center complaining of chest pain in Çanakkale, was transferred to ÇOMÜ Hospital with a diagnosis of a heart attack and underwent a successful angioplasty operation.
Hospitalization Process
Upon feeling pain in his chest and calling the 112 Emergency Call Center, 53-year-old Cem Yılmaz was first taken to Ayvacık State Hospital by health teams.
Following the initial intervention there, the comedian was transferred to the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital Coronary Intensive Care Unit, where it was determined that he had suffered a heart attack.
Angioplasty Operation
In the operation performed by Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, a faculty member of the ÇOMÜ Cardiology Department, a balloon and stent procedure was applied through the wrist in approximately 40 minutes to Yılmaz, whose consciousness was clear upon arrival at the hospital.
Health Status and Statements
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated that the famous comedian's general condition is good and his treatment continues in the coronary intensive care unit.
Yılmaz's older brother, Can Yılmaz, also stated in a social media post that his condition is good and that the necessary medical intervention was performed after he suffered a heart spasm.
Observation Process and Visits
Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit noted that the patient's condition is stable and monitoring will continue for 2 days.
ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Erenoğlu stated that he visited Yılmaz, his general health is quite good, and he was even making jokes.
