Comedian Cem Yılmaz Hospitalized After Heart Attack
Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz, who was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack in Çanakkale, has been discharged following a successful operation. Stating that his health is good, Yılmaz announced that he has made significant changes to his lifestyle.
Cem Yılmaz, who fell ill at his summer house in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale and was taken to the hospital, has regained his health following an angioplasty procedure performed at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital. The artist, who underwent a balloon and stent procedure via his wrist, was discharged after a 48-hour observation period.
Hospitalization Process
Cem Yılmaz, who suddenly fell ill at his home in Paşaköy village, requested assistance by contacting the 112 Emergency Call Center. After initial intervention at Ayvacık State Hospital, the artist was transferred to ÇOMÜ Hospital, where he received emergency treatment.
Successful Angioplasty Operation
During the angioplasty operation performed by Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit and his team, a balloon and stent procedure was applied to the vessel that caused Yılmaz's heart attack by accessing it through his wrist. Following the operation, it was announced that the artist's health condition was stable.
Health Status and Discharge
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu and the artist's relatives confirmed that Yılmaz's condition was good following the operation. Having successfully completed a 48-hour intensive care and observation period, Cem Yılmaz was discharged from the hospital.

Making a statement via social media after his discharge, Yılmaz stated that he has quit smoking and is taking steps toward a healthy lifestyle. He gave important advice to his followers not to neglect their heart health check-ups.
