Turkmenistan is nearing completion on two major projects that will fully digitize the healthcare sector and bring the region's most advanced medical technologies into the country. The modern centers rising in the north and south of the capital are being equipped with artificial intelligence-supported systems.
Inspection of the International Pediatrics Center
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted an on-site inspection of the construction work at the International Pediatrics Center in southern Ashgabat. Designed as a five-story building, the center draws attention with its smart hospital features.
Smart Diagnostics and Microclimate Systems
Artificial intelligence, endoscopic devices, and digital X-ray technologies will be used in the diagnosis and treatment units. Patient wards will feature microclimate systems that automatically adjust air and temperature.
Digital Infrastructure and Training Directive
President Berdimuhamedov instructed that healthcare personnel be trained in the new technologies and that the electronic medical data system be established rapidly.
Oncology Cooperation with German Experts
The second pillar of the healthcare initiative, the International Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center, is rising in northern Ashgabat. The latest work on the project was inspected by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty.
