Free Health Screenings Launched for Residents in Te Lo Commune
In Te Lo commune, free periodic health screenings have been launched for disadvantaged and poor households, as well as hundreds of people who have not undergone check-ups throughout the year.
The People's Committee of Te Lo commune, in cooperation with the Yen Lac Regional Health Center, organized comprehensive and free periodic health check-ups and screenings for local residents.
Scope and Target Audience of Health Screenings
Held from August 27 to 28, the initiative aims to examine disadvantaged families, poor and near-poor households, and individuals who have not had a health check-up since the beginning of the year.
Within this scope, more than 800 people are planned to undergo detailed health screenings and have their health status closely monitored.
Examinations and Testing Procedures Performed
Citizens are being checked in various specialties such as physical fitness measurements, ear, nose and throat, dental, jaw, and eye examinations.
Additionally, gynecological examinations for women, internal and surgical examinations, and blood samples for necessary tests are also being taken.
Early Diagnosis and Lifestyle Recommendations
Thanks to the health screenings, early detection of potential risk factors is ensured, laying the groundwork for appropriate treatment measures to be taken.
Participants are provided with advice on nutrition and lifestyle by experts, explaining how they can monitor their health.
2026 Targets and Future Plans
As a result of these comprehensive efforts, Te Lo commune aims to reach the entire target population by 2026.
In line with the set target, it is aimed to deliver regular health check-up services to a total of more than 7,000 people.
