Hospital Projects
Emphasizing that four major hospitals are being built simultaneously, Dinçyürek stated that this is a first in the history of Cyprus. It was reported that work on the Karşıyaka and Güzelyurt hospitals has reached the final stage.
Famagusta State Hospital
Stating that Famagusta State Hospital is progressing towards becoming a tertiary care hospital, the Minister announced that angiography procedures are being performed and cardiovascular surgeries are planned to start on September 8.
Technology and Nicosia
Conveying that the infrastructure of Nicosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital has been strengthened, Dinçyürek stated that robotic surgery operations have begun at the hospital and are continuing successfully.
Emergency and Other Services
It was stated that within the scope of 112 Emergency Health Services, 16 fully equipped ambulances have been put into service, and the tender process for the procurement of 2 more ambulances has been initiated.
