Healthcare Services and MHRS Appointment Capacity Increased in Şanlıurfa

As a result of the work carried out by the Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Directorate, the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) capacity was increased, and high utilization rates were reached in district hospitals.

Examination and Appointment Statistics

While the number of examinations based on the Central Physician Appointment System was 4 million 38 thousand 316, a total of 2 million 163 thousand 72 appointments were successfully realized.

According to the evaluations made, the appointment realization rate was recorded at 81.5 percent, and the non-attendance rate at appointments was recorded at 18.5 percent.

Capacity Increase Rates

The MHRS appointment capacity in public hospitals, which was 347 thousand 276 in the July 2025 period, was increased to 457 thousand 424 in the September 2025 period.

Thanks to this planning, a significant capacity increase of 31.7 percent in total was achieved within a short period of two months.

Occupancy Rates in District Hospitals

According to current data, capacity utilization rates in district hospitals have reached quite high levels and received intense interest.

The rate was measured at 115.54 percent in Bozova State Hospital, 113.25 percent in Hilvan State Hospital, and 104.18 percent in Halfeti State Hospital.

Hospitals in the City Center

Capacity utilization rates in health facilities in the Şanlıurfa city center continue to progress at a certain level.

Balıklıgöl State Hospital recorded a rate of 91.82 percent, Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital 88.33 percent, and Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital 78.17 percent.

A total of 1,050 physicians across Şanlıurfa are actively serving citizens within the scope of the Central Physician Appointment System.

Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Berk called on citizens to cancel their appointments in cases where they will not be able to attend.
