Manisa City Hospital Begins Accepting International Patients in 12 Specialties
Starting to serve international patients across 12 different specialties under its medical tourism authorization, the institution will handle application and treatment processes as well as translation and accommodation arrangements.
Manisa City Hospital has opened its doors to international patients to provide medical tourism services with its accredited registration and technological infrastructure. Treatment, transportation, and accommodation processes will be coordinated from a single center within the hospital.
Medical Specialties to Be Served
The fields in which international patients will be accepted include General Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat), Plastic Surgery, and Geriatrics. Treatment will also be offered in Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Immunology and Allergy Diseases, Radiology, and Anesthesiology and Reanimation.
Holistic Process Management and Healthcare Staff
Buket Ünlükoç Akın, Nurse in Charge of the Health Tourism Unit, stated that the application, appointment, transportation, accommodation, translation, and treatment stages for international patients are meticulously monitored. Vice Chief Physician and Health Tourism Coordinator Specialist Dr. Eda Çakıroğlu Aldemir reported that they aim to provide safe and high-quality service at international standards.
Surgical specialist Dr. Doğukan Akçay noted that they will share their expertise in oncological and bariatric surgery, while Prof. Dr. Bilali Habeş Gümüş stated that they are assertive in uro-oncological cancers, reconstructive surgery, and erectile dysfunction treatments.
