MP Ahmet Şık undergoes angiography in Eskişehir
It was announced that Workers' Party of Turkey (TIP) MP Ahmet Şık, who was hospitalized after falling ill in Eskişehir, was found to have blockages in his coronary vessels during medical checks.
Workers' Party of Turkey Istanbul MP Ahmet Şık was hospitalized following a sudden illness in Eskişehir and underwent a successful angiography procedure.
Hospitalization Process
Workers' Party of Turkey Istanbul MP Ahmet Şık suffered a sudden illness in Sümer Neighborhood of Odunpazarı district in Eskişehir. Following the illness, he was taken to Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
Health Status and Treatment
As a result of medical checks and tests performed at the hospital, it was determined that Şık had blockages in his heart vessels. It was reported that his health condition is good following the angiography procedure.

The Workers' Party of Turkey issued an official briefing regarding the MP's health condition. According to expert evaluations, it was stated that Şık, who has a possibility of undergoing bypass surgery, is in good medical condition and is expected to be discharged shortly.
