It was stated that a blood transfusion was administered to the young patient due to a severe drop in his ferritin and blood counts, and he would receive another unit of blood during the day.

Hospital Process and Bone Marrow Transplant Risk

The health process of the young patient, who was previously treated at Dokuz Eylül University Research Hospital, is currently continuing at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital.

It was stated that due to his current health condition, a bone marrow transplant carries serious risk, and performing a transplant within the next few years could be dangerous.

It was disclosed that because the young patient does not have health insurance, he has been unable to use his medications regularly for about two years, and this situation has negatively affected his health profile.

It was pointed out that resuming medication treatment after the disruption and maintaining this process regularly is of great importance.

Following Hamid's words "I don't want to die," the Torbalı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had initiated an ex officio investigation and conducted an operation.

Within the scope of the investigation, mother Nihal B., who was detained, was arrested on charges of altering the child's lineage, while uncle Mehmet Y. was released under judicial control conditions.
