New Regulations and Drug Decisions from the Ministry of Health

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced in a social media post that new decisions have been made in the healthcare field. In this context, three new drugs were added to the reimbursement list, some report durations were extended, and pharmacy supports were increased.

Drugs Added to the Reimbursement Scope

With the new regulation made by the Ministry, a total of three more drugs have been included in the reimbursement scope.

It was stated that one of these drugs added to the list is used in cancer treatment, while the other two will be used in the treatment of hemophilia B patients.

Family Physicians and Pharmacy Supports

Within the framework of the new regulations, family physicians were officially granted the authority to prescribe the drug named Leflunomide.

Additionally, the financial support rate provided for magistral drugs prepared specially in pharmacies was increased by 40 percent.

Report Durations and Surgical Procedures

The report durations for enteral nutrition products of patients with neurological disorders were extended to one year.

Surgical procedures with a high degree of difficulty performed by the pediatric surgery branch were also included in the reimbursement scope.
