Grouping System in Danger
Ahmet Kandemir, General President of the Family Medicine Employees Union (AHESEN), stated that with the new arrangement, the sustainability of the grouping system applied in FHCs could be endangered.
Removal of Flexible Working Hours
It was stated that the removal of flexible working hours in FHCs with the new regulation would create a serious problem regarding the existing system that enables the employment of additional personnel in Group A, B, and C centers.
Risk for Thousands of Employees
It was noted that if the criteria regarding working hours cannot be met, additional allowances may be cut, which could lead to thousands of midwives, nurses, and medical secretaries becoming unemployed.
Increasing Operating Costs
While it was emphasized that the operating costs of FHCs are increasing day by day, attention was drawn to the fact that current expense payments are insufficient to cover this increase.
Impact on Service Quality
It was stated that the inability to sustain additional personnel employment would directly and negatively affect the quality of service provided in family health centers and citizens' access to healthcare services.
Warning for September
AHESEN warned that a serious employment problem could be experienced in September and made a call to the authorities.
