Comprehensive Studies in Kulturpark and 30 Districts

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Health Affairs Department Health Training Branch Directorate has established special information stands in the halls of Kulturpark within the scope of preventive health services.

In addition to the stands in Kulturpark, the Metropolitan Municipality conducts field studies in thirty districts to provide information on early diagnosis and breast milk.

Early Diagnosis and Breastfeeding Information Shared

The established stands explain in detail the vital importance of early diagnosis in breast cancer, correct breastfeeding techniques, and the benefits of breast milk.

Visitors are also provided with comprehensive information about the general health services and projects carried out by the municipality.

Active Support from University Students

University students included in the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Health Volunteers Project also actively participate in these meaningful activities.

Tınaztepe University Midwifery Department students also take part in the project, contributing to the spread of health awareness in society.

Games and Q&A Events

Health volunteers draw attention to misconceptions in health by conducting question-and-answer games and various interactive activities with citizens.

Thanks to entertaining and interactive methods, participants are ensured to both enjoy themselves and learn accurate information permanently.

Health Volunteers Project Coordinator Çisem Alagözoğlu stated that they aim to disseminate accurate health knowledge in society through interactive studies.

Health volunteer Simay Tümer noted that thanks to the activities carried out, citizens have become more conscious and this information has reached wider segments of the population.
