A vehicle driver who endangered the life safety of other drivers by weaving through traffic in Gaziantep's Islahiye district was identified and penalized thanks to social media shares.
Social Media Footage Treated as a Report
Moments showing a car traveling from in front of Islahiye State Hospital toward the city center in Gaziantep while performing dangerous maneuvers by weaving through traffic were shared on social media platforms.
Accepting the video recordings in question as a report, the Islahiye District Police Department teams quickly initiated investigation and identification efforts.
Driver Fined 90 Thousand Liras for Traffic Violation
As a result of the work carried out by the teams, driver K.K., whose identity and vehicle were determined, was issued a total administrative fine of 90 thousand liras for endangering traffic safety.
Authorities stated that inspections against such illegal behaviors that endanger traffic safety will continue resolutely.
