The "You Bring the Flour, We Knead It" campaign carried out by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality provides great convenience for women preparing winter yufka in rural neighborhoods.

Gülay Tokmak, a 57-year-old resident of the Karaöz Neighborhood in the Aksu district, took immediate action when she saw Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir rolling yufka on social media.

Positive Response Received in a Short Time

Gülay Tokmak posted a request for support on social media, stating that their neighborhood lacked a dough-kneading machine and that elderly people had difficulty kneading dough.

Municipality officials remained responsive to this request and soon donated a dough-kneading machine to the Karaöz Neighborhood.

Eased the Work of Women

These supports, carried out by the Department of Agricultural Services, aim to ease the daily chores of citizens in rural areas.
