Investigation Continues Into the Incident in Montemorelos Where Five People Lost Their Lives
The forensic investigation into the incident, in which social media influencer Cinthya Tamez shot her partner and three children before committing suicide, is continuing in all its aspects.
In the incident that came to light on the morning of September 30 in the city of Montemorelos, Mexico, it was determined that social media influencer Cinthya Tamez killed her partner and three children with a firearm and then ended her life.
Discovery of the Incident
Authorities, during their investigations in Montemorelos on the morning of September 30, found the lifeless bodies of Cinthya Tamez and her 2-year-old son Gustavo inside a vehicle. At a house approximately 400 meters away from this location, the bodies of Tamez's partner, Leodegario Moya Garza, and their children Bruno and Cristian were reached.
Investigation Findings
Initial findings shared by Nuevo León Attorney General Javier Flores Saldivar shed light on the possible sequence of events. It is evaluated that Tamez shot her partner and two sons at the house, then left by vehicle taking her third son, subsequently shot the young child, and committed suicide with the same weapon.
Evidence and Ballistic Examination
It was reported that the .38 caliber handgun found at the scene was recovered in the vehicle where Tamez and her young son were located. Ballistic examinations confirmed a match between the cartridge cases fired from the handgun and those found at the house.
Social Media Post
It was determined that Cinthya Tamez, who had more than 70,000 followers, shared a video from a moving vehicle shortly before her death. It was reported that the post included statements indicating that no one knew her bad side.

The prosecutor's office and security forces continue their efforts to shed light on the exact cause and all details of the murders by evaluating security camera footage, witness statements, ballistic reports, and other evidence.
