Two Arrested Over School Threat Post in Sandıklı, Afyonkarahisar
Two of the three suspects referred to the courthouse over social media posts targeting a high school in Afyonkarahisar's Sandıklı district have been arrested.
Three suspects identified as sharing threatening video content targeting a high school on social media in Afyonkarahisar's Sandıklı district were detained. Following procedures at the police station, two of the suspects referred to the courthouse were arrested, while a house arrest decision was issued for one.
Investigation Initiated Over Social Media Post
Within the scope of the investigation coordinated by the Sandıklı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that threatening footage regarding a high school in the district was shared on social media platforms.
Police Operation and Detentions
As a result of the operation conducted by the Sandıklı District Police Department teams, suspects identified as being connected to the incident, namely T.G., E.H.A., and F.Y.C., were detained. Searches were also carried out at the residence addresses of the suspects.
Judicial Decisions
After the completion of their legal procedures at the police station, suspect T.G., who was referred to the courthouse, was released with a house arrest measure. E.H.A. and F.Y.C. were arrested by the presiding judgeship.
