Two Suspects Detained for Firing into the Air on a Street in Ankara's Keçiören
Two suspects who fired into the air on a street at night in Ankara and shared the footage on social media were caught by police teams and referred to the courthouse.
Two individuals who fired into the air while walking down a street at night in Ankara's Keçiören district, recording the moments and sharing them on social media, were caught and detained as a result of police operations.
The Incident
In Ankara's Keçiören district, S.Ç., walking down the street at night, fired into the air while being recorded on a cell phone by his companion S.A. The suspects shared these footage on their social media accounts.
Police Operations
Following the spread of the footage, teams from the Keçiören Ufuktepe Police Station Directorate launched an investigation, identifying the vehicle the suspects boarded and determining their identities.
Detention and Evidence
The footage was recorded as evidence on the phones of the suspects who were captured as a result of the operations. During the location reconstruction procedure carried out with S.Ç., empty cartridges were found.
Referral to the Courthouse
Stating during their procedures at the police station that they regretted their actions, the suspects were referred to the courthouse for intentionally endangering general safety.
