Fatih Municipality Summer Sports Schools Closing Festival Held
Thousands of students who played sports throughout the summer came together at the closing festival held with the participation of Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak and protocol members.
The Summer Sports Schools Closing Festival, organized by Fatih Municipality at Mimar Sinan Stadium, was held enthusiastically with the participation of Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak and Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan.

Summer Sports Activities
It was stated that a total of 8,500 students engaged in sports under the guidance of instructors in facilities throughout the summer. It was expressed that these efforts enabled children to spend their summer vacations productively and actively.
Sports Facility Investments
It was emphasized that investments in sports facilities continue uninterrupted across Turkey. It was conveyed that modern facilities brought to all corners of the country make a great contribution to the development of sports.
Transformation Works in Yedikule
It was announced that the Yedikule area, which was previously in a rundown state and associated with various negative issues, was transformed into a sports village through a comprehensive project. It was stated that this area has been brought to the local residents.
Combating Bad Habits
It was noted that keeping children and young people away from harmful habits such as digital addiction, drugs, gambling, and alcohol is among the top priorities. Attention was drawn to the protective role of sports in this area.
Let No One Know How to Swim Project
Information was shared that within the scope of the "Let No One Know How to Swim" project carried out by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, 12 million young people across the country were taught how to swim.
National Teams and Achievements
While stating that there is full belief that the A National Women's Volleyball Team will become the European champion, emphasis was placed on the successes of the Sultans of the Net and the national athletes competing in the Mediterranean Games.
