Aiming to make a U23 reinforcement to its defensive line, Fenerbahçe has reached an agreement with Kojo Peprah Oppong, who plays for French Ligue 1 side Nice, and the player is expected to arrive in Istanbul.

Fenerbahçe management found the player it was looking for in France as part of its U23 reinforcement for the defensive line, and the yellow-navy blue club made significant progress in the transfer.

As a result of negotiations conducted with French club Nice, it was stated that the parties reached an agreement and the Ghanaian footballer is expected to be in Istanbul shortly.

Career Development and Performance

Nice club got high efficiency in his first season from the young player whom it added to its squad for 2.7 million euros from Swedish team Norrköping in the summer 2025 transfer window.

Serving in a total of 43 official matches in his first season in France and starting in the initial 11 in 40 of those encounters, the Ghanaian footballer managed to rise up to the national team thanks to his consistent performance.

It came to the agenda that the successful defender, who has a contract valid until June 2029 with Nice, would leave the team in line with the club's financial resource creation policy.
