Hands Shaken with the Player, Clubs Negotiating
According to a report by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Galatasaray, looking to strengthen its wing line, offered Milan player Rafael Leao an annual salary around 12 million euros. Having reached an agreement with the Portuguese footballer on these terms, the Yellow-Reds have not yet reached a deal with Milan regarding the transfer fee.
As official contacts between the two clubs continue, it was reported that the Galatasaray management is persisting in its efforts to convince the Italian side.
Aston Villa's Offer Remained at Half
English Premier League side Aston Villa also entered the transfer process. While Galatasaray presented the highest salary offer to Leao, the annual wage proposed by Aston Villa to the Portuguese player remained at half the level of the Yellow-Reds' offer.
However, it was reported that Aston Villa is ready to pay the transfer fee requested by Milan, but has not yet received a positive response from the player.
